The
Control of Asbestos
at Work Regulations
places a number of
legal requirements
on employers or the
duty holder by virtue
of a contract or tenancy.
To meet these requirements
Carlton Manor offers
a comprehensive service
for the identification,
recording and reporting
of asbestos occurrences
in the workplace.
A
range of surveys can
be undertaken in accordance
with Methods for Determining
Hazardous Substances
(MDHS) 100 to establish
the type, level and
condition of asbestos.

Surveys
are carried out by directly
employed, highly trained
and experienced surveyors
who hold a minimum qualification
of BOHS 402. Samples
taken are analysed by
approved independent
UKAS accredited companies.
Survey
reports consist of bound
documents, which include
bulk sample analytical
results, photographs’ sequential
records of the site
survey an asbestos register
and site plans showing
the location of any
identified asbestos.
We also provide recommendations
for the treatment/removal
and management of all
asbestos containing
materials.
In
addition to the bound
document, copies of
reports are also issued
on CD Rom.
